Key Characteristic 1: Culture of Learning

STANDARD # 3
Leaders actively engage stakeholders to support the institution’s priorities and guiding principles that promote learners’ academic growth and well-being.

Elements

Leaders establish and sustain conditions that result in support and active participation among stakeholders.
Leaders collaborate with stakeholders to advance identified priorities. Institutions choose areas of focus based on analyzed data on learners’ needs, and consistent with guiding principles.

Evidence

Evidence 1. Assessment methodology (https://www.mntamilschool.org/grading/) and parents-teachers conference (https://www.mntamilschool.org/parent-handbook/) are used in gathering both objective assessments and subjective feedback from the learners. These are regularly analyzed for identifying the focus area of improvements.

Evidence 2. Skills Improvement Program (Assessment driven LSRW Skills Improvement Program Document) is a clear testament on how 1) School identifies the focus areas based on the analyzed data from assessments and 2) School seamlessly communicates and actively engages all stakeholders (Teachers, Students and Parents) in achieving the established learning targets.

Evidence 3: Performance data https://www.mntamilschool.org/performance-data/ and syllabus continuous improvement like “Student World of Words” for improving Speaking & Writing skills https://www.mntamilschool.org/continuous-improvement-2023-24/

Evidence 4. Handbooks for Teachers (https://www.mntamilschool.org/teachers-handbook/), Parents( https://www.mntamilschool.org/parent-handbook/) & students (https://www.mntamilschool.org/student-handbook/) are actively advocating for active participation and meaningful engagement of the stakeholders in order to promote learner’s academic growth and well-being.
